What were the origins of the company?
My father had been leading a brokerage for more than 30 years and I joined the sector after several professional experiences in companies. We created O.Brokers, with a team of professionals with more than 30 years of experience and with the shared vision of supporting the growth of the business fabric through insurance solutions capable of anticipating the needs of each client at every stage of their life.
What sets the company apart from its main competitors?
We work under the slogan “Insurance as a Service”. We believe that, in addition to offering coverage, we must also drive our clients’ risk improvement and accompany them in their growth to protect the company’s assets. We are in contact with them throughout the annuity, not only at the time of renewal. That’s why 80% of our customers have been with us for more than 15 years: we consider ourselves more a partner than a supplier.
What is the current O.Brokers team like?
All the people who make up our team are characterized by their professionalism and their vocation of service, which allows us to offer a quality service tailored, agile and transparent able to access specific coverage from more than 50 insurance companies. We can thus address companies in any sector and with a turnover of between 30 and 1.5 billion euros. In some cases, we have accompanied them in their international growth.
What products do you offer in risk for companies?
We work all the insurance solutions: All risk material damage, cyber insurance, civil liability, professional, environmental, managers, transport, vehicle fleets, insurance for construction and credit. We have specialized in International Programs, and in recent years we are betting heavily on employee benefits (health, life, accidents and savings) because we believe that the success of companies comes mainly from taking care of their talent.
Is it possible to continue innovating in a sector like this?
The insurance sector has a long history of innovation. Artificial intelligence is already present in this area, and these new tools will save us time to devote more to advising our customers.
What is the firm’s value proposition in the insurance market?
Our purpose is to provide security and financial peace of mind to our clients to ensure their continuity and growth.
Thanks to the knowledge acquired in each of the sectors, we anticipate the future needs that may have each company proactively proposing insurance solutions at every stage.
What are the company’s future plans?
To remain close to our customers and continue to offer quality advice. We want to grow, but in an orderly way because our priority is to continue offering the boutique service that has characterized us until now.
