Vehicle and Fleet insurance is a contract that covers risks that may arise mainly from the driving of automobiles.
What is vehicle and/or fleet insurance?
Vehicle and Fleet insurance is the insurance that covers damage caused to third parties and, if the cover is taken out, the vehicle’s own damage.
Insurance coverage
Among the coverages that can be found is mandatory civil liability, which, as its name suggests, is mandatory. It covers any damage to third parties caused by the driver of the vehicle, whether material or personal. Also, there are other optional covers that can be taken out depending on the needs of the policyholder.
Fleet insurance may include in a single policy all the vehicles that the company wants to insure. The minimum contract for this type of insurance is generally ten vehicles.
The benefit of having insurance of this kind is that, although each vehicle has its own insurance, the conditions are signed for all of them and it is more economical than individual insurance, as any claims against one vehicle are offset by the rest.
How do we work Vehicle and Fleet insurances?
To hire the insurance policy, we always recommend that you have the technical specifications of the vehicle to insure it with the exact characteristics and accessories, as there are often models that turn out to be very similar and it is important to ensure the correct model. In the event you do not have this data, you will have to specify the complete model of the vehicle to be insured.
Once you have the above information, you will need to know the details of who will be taking out the policy, and in some cases, who will be driving the vehicle(s).
We also manage the insurance of fleets with industrial vehicles such as forklifts, trucks and vans.

- A vehicle parked in reverse crashes on the side with the wall and the entire side door needs to be repaired. As the vehicle is insured with own damage, the repair of the vehicle is covered.
- A forklift truck that was moving inside a warehouse accidentally runs over a factory visitor who was on a tour.
- A truck is involved in a traffic accident while transporting goods and causes damage to a car.
